The Keys Academy Trust sets the admissions policy for Alder Grove Church of England Primary School independently of the local authority. We are bound by the government Code of Practice for admissions and co-ordinate our admissions timetable with that of the local authority, for the admission of children into the Reception year. Parents apply before the closing date in the January before the September of the school year in which their child will reach 5 years old.

The arrangements for admission to the school in the academic year September 2021 – 2022 have now been determined and these can be found on the school’s website under Admissions. If you consider that these are not in compliance with the School Admissions Code or the law relating to admissions, you may object to the Schools Adjudicator.
